Thanks for finding this, David. It's perfect timing for me. In my opinion, "A generation from now, nothing will have changed" is overly pessimistic. I used to be the supreme pessimist of my organization, but lately, I've sensed that change is coming. I'm not sure these changes will help, but at least they're trying things. I'm on the wiki too.

My experience of trying to get my work colleagues to use things like wikis has been pretty pathetic. And I've been trying to think why.

As you'd expect there's a theory on how technology evolves, disruptive technology, which seems to point to some answers.
